Instead of integrating a standard on and off switch to your lighting system, Lumenstar offers two different motion sensor switches that can be used with our full range of LED step lights. These automatic light switches require to be installed at the bottom and top of the stairs so when a person approaches, the sensor will trigger turning on the lights. The motion activated light switch provides convenience as lights will turn on automatically and will remain on based on the length of time of the chosen sensor.

Timed Motion Sensor Switch
LS-MSThis simple PIR motion sensor switch operates at 12V or 24V DC and features a built-in timer that can be set to 1 to 10 minutes.
Recessed PIR Motion Sensor Switch
Recess low profile infrared sensor turns low voltage LED lights on and off. The motion activated light switch includes a sensor rand of 3 meters (10 feet) and stays on for 40 seconds before turning off.
